Italian prime minister visits top execs at Google, Twitter, Yahoo

"Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi had so many stops planned for a whirlwind 48-hours in the Bay Area that he looks like he’s running for office. Not only is he meeting with more tech CEOs than President Obama does during one of his fundraising visits to the Bay Area, Renzi is doing something Obama doesn’t during his visits here: Meet with non-techies and others who don’t write a fundraising check to be in his presence.

Within hours Monday, Renzi had meetings on tap with Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer and Google co-founder Larry Page. Oh, that was in addition to a breakfast meeting with 150 Italian entrepreneurs and start-up leaders Monday morning at the St. Francis Yacht Club."
