Do you think that aviation safety can help surgery? I am toking about checklists briefings etc.

Pilots read checklist before landing (gear down, flaps, clearence must do that even if you know it by memory).

What about surgenons before "landing on you" (right person, blod pressure, allergy etc.)?

What do you think?

A new initiative, "Ecopatente" aimed at raising awareness and responsibility toward the environment amongst young/new drivers.

Let's hope it will also cover basic concepts of civility such as: 1) turn off your engine when not running (some new cars actually provide for this intelligent feature) and avoid leaving it idle to pollute the… Continue

Startup Founders - America Wants You!

StartupVisa is encouraging Congress to implement Paul Graham's vision of a new class of visa for startup founders.

The biggest constraint on the number of new startups that get created in the US is not tax policy or employment law or even Sarbanes-Oxley. It's that we won't let the people who want to start them into the country.
