- Founded by Vicky Gray-Clark in 1998, Ambient Public Relations – for Creative Industries, is a San Jose, Calif.-based results-driven public relations consultancy catering primarily to entertainment technology companies in the film, video, broadcast, animation, multimedia, gaming, mobile communications and 3D display markets. Ambient prides itself on cultivating longstanding relationships with clients who trust us to consistently deliver customized and strategic campaigns that meet communication goals. As agency principal, I have worked on numerous high profile accounts for established brands including Apple, Adobe and have successfully elevated visibility on behalf of numerous emerging-stage technology companies.
Of particular note to BAIA members, I began my career in New York City at leading public relations agency Burson-Marsteller. During my tenure, I spent more than three years servicing Torino-based IVECO, Fiat’s commercial trucking division. On their behalf I provided publicity and logistics implementation for its international roster of sponsorships of worldwide sporting events and special events such as, “The America’s Cup,” ‘Davis Cup Tennis,” “World Cup Soccer,” and more. Our activities necessitated working closely with the IVECO communications team in Torino. There were also occasions where we coordinated joint events with the Italian Trade Commission in New York City and the Italian Embassy. In addition, I also conducted media tours to Torino for members of the American automotive press to tour IVECO headquarters and plant sites.
I have traveled to quite a few regions throughout Italy over the past 25 years and have a deep affection for the country – its people, culture and products. I speak Italian conversationally (at an advanced beginner/intermediate level but can generally make myself understood.) People affectionately call me an Italophile.
It would be a distinct pleasure to offer my PR consulting services to Italian companies/organizations/special events seeking enhanced visibility in the U.S. marketplace.
