"Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful dinner. It was a pleasure meeting everyone and I congratulate you all for your endeavors.
I hope I was able to contribute as much as I took away from this experience."
Starting one face at a time, Shelley Costantini has worked in the beauty industry since 1992. She began as a make-up artist prior to becoming a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician in the highly competitive Washington DC, Metropolitan area. Shelley waxed poetic through salons in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington D.C. notably at the Four Seasons and Ilo Day Spa. A cult-like following and clientele followed, and included politicians, actresses Anna Deveare-Smith and Betty White, and CNN on-air journalists including David Gregory and Christiane Amanpour. Word-of-mouth turned her skin care talent into the “must-have” treatments for in-the-know D.C. men and women. She also diversified her experience by participating in the product design and development for a cosmetics line for Universal Esthetics, Inc.
Relocating to San Francisco at the start of the millennium, Shelley brought her barely there bikini waxes and skin care experience out west. In 2002 she opened—BellaPelle Skin Studio—in San Francisco’s Union Square. Shelley rapidly established a diverse and loyal following who appreciated her in-depth understanding of the relationship between skin, bone structure, health and beauty. Not to mention, the instant recognition from the “hard to please” fashion magazines, Allure, InStyle and Lucky, plus a nomination for The Best of the Bay Area in the SF Magazine.
After 12 years in downtown San Francisco, Shelley placed her team of skin specialists at Atelier Emmanuel Salon + Day Spa and is very excited about the launch of a new skin care line at 415 Labs.
