About Me:: Rosalia Pusateri –Gissendaner aka Rosella holds a degree in Business from Bocconi University. After graduating, Rosella, traveled extensively throughout the world and worked for various international companies, including Procter & Gamble Johnson & Johnson, Nestles. She also lived in Africa and Thailand working in the hospitality Business.

Rosella left the corporate world settling in California 1996 where she went back to study business at UC Berkeley. In 1999 she accepted the position of Marketing Manager for Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco.

Rosalia Pusateri /Rosella met her husband, David at the end of the 2000, while sailing in Sausalito’s Richardson Bay. They have a beautiful son, Luca, who was born on their Schooner November 20th 2003; Luca has been raised trilingual and he is fluent in Italian English and Spanish.

After Luca was born Rosella has been dedicating most of her time and work to his education. She founded Girotondo Italian School, a multicultural and bilingual school. She is still continuing to explore more opportunities that will allow her son Luca to continue to be trilingual and to become a self confident and compassioned man, with a deep understanding for different cultures, human rights, freedom of speech and expression, respect for others and their opinions, with the ability of perusing his dreams with courage, enthusiasm, common sense and strong sense of justice.

Rosalia Pusateri /Rosella's other passion is traveling; she exercises regularly, her favorite activities sports are hiking, outrigger-canoe, mountaineering and yoga.

thank you for the invitation -- the saturday pajam.a party sounds fun. our son just turned one -- so maybe he is too small for now. we are starting at la piccola scuola italiana in september as we live in the city. we have heard great things about girotondo, too.

ITALIAN PAJAMA NIGHT is an event For Children, while Mamma e Papa’ go out for a date : One Saturday a month from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm, Italian Pizza, Games, Crafts, Face Painting, Story Time, Movie time and more!!! You drop your son, go out and relax, while he has fun and learn Italian! Then pick him up.
I think this could be a good class for you!!! let me know and I can send you the dates.
We just added to our Italian pre-school, kindergarten and we are planning to open first grade in 2010.
We are now the only and first Italian Full Immersion school in the Bay area licensed by the State of California. Big Step for us!!!
The School is located in San Rafael in a very nice school campus. 1055 Las Ovejas CA 94903.

I have heard of it and had tried to look at their website once before it was complete. I will look again
today! We are great. Michael is just so huge, 45 inches tall.... He starts pre-school at Tiny Giants in
the city on the 3rd of September. Yes, I only wish it was easier for us to come out there, but with my
schedule, waking up at 3:30 am it is just too hard on me. I plan to stop working in the next year so maybe
we can get back involved then!! I hope you, David and Luca are well..... I would love to come see your new
school one of these days!
