Robert Ferri, founder of Robert Ferri Partners, LLC, and Catapult Technology Ventures in San Francisco, has helped found, build and finance companies in the United States and Europe.
In Washington, D.C., Mr. Ferri launched and headed communications programs and departments at The Nasdaq Stock Market, served as Executive Assistant for Communications to U.S. Sen. John Heinz, and was a columnist and reporter for Thomson Newspapers. Mr. Ferri also was Co-Founder and President of The Amherst News, Inc., a weekly newspaper in his native Massachusetts.
Mr. Ferri, who has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, has a wide range of experience in politics and government. A frequent commentator in electronic and print media, he has been a guest lecturer at Harvard University and other institutions of higher education, as well as a speaker to business and civic organizations. Mr. Ferri serves on the U.S. Boards of Directors of Etherstack, Inc., a London-based wireless software company, and Minerva Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology licensing company based in the Bay Area of California. A member of the Dean’s Alumni Leadership Council of Harvard’s Kennedy School and the San Francisco Area Advisory Committee of the Center for Public Interest Careers at Harvard College, Mr. Ferri serves on several not-for-profit Boards of Directors.
A resident of Sausalito, CA., Mr. Ferri is a member of the Board of Directors of the Resource Center for the United Nations.
