About Me:

With several years of management experience, Matteo has a successful track record in leading large organizations within key business units as well as start-ups. Matteo is currently the VP of Business Development for Promptu Systems Corporation, a start up based in Menlo Park (CA) that develops mobile voice-enabled applications . Before joining Promptu, Matteo collaborated as Venture Partner with Innogest Capital, the largest early-stage Venture Capital firm in Italy.

Prior to this, he gained significant experience in the travel and transportation industry with FS, the third largest European railway company, where as EVP Marketing and Regional General Manager, he led a $200 million business unit. Before that, Monteverdi worked in the Finance and ICT departments of Ford Motor Company Europe in London and Italy. Monteverdi holds an MBA degree from SDA Bocconi University, a Bachelor's degree in Business Law from University of Milan and a specialization in marketing from Stanford Business School.
