The foundation La Stampa/Specchio dei Tempi from Torino has donated 50,000 Euros to a pediatric hospital, the "Saint Camille” of Port Au Prince, founded by a religious group from Piedmont; learn more about the effort and ways to donate here.

"Il giardino dei piccoli Einstein", inspiring article from La Stampa about the first Science for Children Center in Europe, to be inaugurated in Torino next spring. Given the value of science education and the often scarce availability of hands-on education in Italian schools, this is a much-needed initiative.

I believe Alberto Castagnetti deserves to be remembered beyond geographic borders and in a way that his memory may be honored by those who speak Italian or English. Thus my double entry.
