Salve,

Le due note che scrivo, non avranno molto a che fare con gli interessi di business, oppure con le attivita' imprenditoriali o di relazione e network di baia, ma avendo notato un forum di collegamento con il consolato, vorrei solamente segnalare (dopo un mese di permanenza in USA tra california, arizona, utah, e nevada.... e decine di ristoranti necessariamente per alimentarmi) il proliferare di ristoranti "italiani" perfettamente referenziati nella guida in oggetto.

A parte l'orgoglio di comprendere che ristorante italiano (e sottotitoli...giuseppi's, aldo's, massimo's etc....) identifica per gli statunitensi, forse piu' uno stile italiano che prettamente il tipo di cibo o non esclusivamente, vorrei comunque evidenziare che l'uso improprio dovrebbe comunque far ragionare che chi e' "realmente" un ristorante italiano, dovrebbe essere in modo piu' dignitoso "certificato" "referenziato", poi libero arbitrio e libero mercato, ma chi usa prodotti italiani ed rispetta una ricetta originale non puo' essere identico al mucchio.

Ho digerito menu disgustosi in ristoranti italiani referenziati nella guida, Zagat, tra l'altro con il commento iniziale a titolo del ministro italiano, lo stellone italiano nella guida non e' eccessivo?

Magari lo hai gia' pianificato, ma perche' non partecipi all'evento di oggi "Escape to Tuscany, Turning Elite Tourism into a Lifestyle Choice". A parte il siggetto che puo' indirettamente interessarti, puo' essere una occasione di conoscerci e discutere alcune cose su food/beverage e soprattutto culinary trips...

I publish an article every time I find something interesting, and often just on culinary culture and interesting products... the website is www.italyinsf.com, and you can subscribe to the rss feed. I am thinking of adding a mailing list, but I haven't gotten around doing that.
I also operate Global Epicurean (www.globalepicurean.com), which is a company that organizes culinary trips to Italy (for now, I hope to expand to the world soon!). If you have connection in a particular area of Italy (travel agencies) who'd be interested in organizing culinary trips, please let me know!

ciao Vanessa, i miei ristoranto preferiti a San Fran sono Farina (ligure). La Ciccia (sardo). Gran Pubah (Thai). Colibri' (Messicano). Chez Papa/Maman (francese). Pazzia (per la classica pizza bassa). Ho provato di recente Beretta. I risotti sembravano essere molto buoni (servono anche quello al nero di seppia). Io ho optato per la classica pizza bassa (non male anche un'po' bruciacchiata. Vorrei iscrivermi al tuo blog/sito. Come faccio? ciao, Barbara
