Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with designers and others to create engaging online experiences that leverage multiple online media including web video to improve response and engagement.
Support corporate, product, service and segment marketing objectives. Maintain direct working relationships with line marketers providing guidance on strategies and tactics for marketing on Sybase.com based on demonstrated results and industry best practices.
Maintain sound information architecture to insure a smooth flow of user experience from landing to response, balancing business objectives with implicit and explicit user goals.
Create and maintain content and interactive tools including web video that will inspire customers and prospects in their acquisition/implementation of Sybase products, driving and increasing rate of return visitors and inquiries.
Evaluate metrics relative to assigned sections of the site and constantly evolves site content and web tools to maximize effectiveness and inquiry response.
Coordinate with colleagues to insure appropriate keyword usage and meta tagging practices (SEO) are in place in order to maximize traffic from external search engines employing both organic and paid programs as required.
Manages contractors and vendor relationships as needed
