a friend recruiter asked me to propagate to my network the following job opportunity:

Sr. UNIX Systems Administrator

-Must haves:

Solaris 10
Linux (any distribution)
Perl scripting
Shell scripting (any)

-It's a Plus:

Siebel

Our client is rolling out Siebel to their database (ORACLE) and they need someone to help package the distribution and deploy it fully automated.
Day to day responsibilities are:
Troubleshooting Solaris and application builds
Building OS images to deploy with zero configuration
Fully automate tasks such as OS deployments by writing scripts in Perl and any UNIX/Linux shell.

This is a 3-6 month contract opportunity and the client is interviewing immediately.

Salary range: 50-55/hour based on experience.
