Looking for a job ...

Dear friends
I'm Alberto , a new member of BAIA . I'm coming back to California after 2 years at Bnl - Bnp Paribas here in Italy. I have been so lucky to win the DV Lottery program , so I have a Greencard and a SSN already in my hands . I'm graduated in Bologna at Economics and Finance in 2006 with laude , I have been, thanks to a followship, 8 months at UC San Diego as visiting student in 2006-2007 and soon after my return to Italy I started to work for Bnl - Bnp P. as private banker . My dream : be back there and build a new life .I will fly there in mid-september and start to search immediatly.
I'm looking for an opportunity to prove myself. I'm a hardworker, indipendent, a very fast learner and with a "alwayshappymood" :) . I would prefer to live in south California as I have some friends there but open mind to any great possibility everywhere in U.S as I'm totaly dedicated to work.

Alberto, did you try contacting Bank of the West? It is a California based subsidiary of BNP Paribas. They have branches all over California, with headquarters here in San Francisco. Let me know if you need an intro, and I will be happy to help.

Matteo I already did it. I have been in LA in April to activate my greencard and I did an interview too with BotW there. They told me that it was ok and to pick a job from the website that suites me. I did 2 times but never had an answer (in one they changed the requests and I have been kicked out of candidate pool) , that's why I'm looking around. I had even some recommendation letters from Italy. Do you maybe have a contact in Walnut Creek (headquarters) or SF? I spoke with M. Bracco and A.Navneet and they switched me to L.A. Office because idiotly I said that I would love to stay in South California. Maybe I just need someone that can take up the phone and ask at LA HR Office if there is a true possibility for me.
Anyway thank you so much for your answer . I really hope to find a spot . BotW was a cool place IMO .
