Italy-focused BAs and early stage VCs in the NY Area

Hi all,

I'll be in NY for three full days (July 14-16), and I'm trying to plan in advance the possibility to pitch BAs and early-stage VCs potentially interested in investing into fhoster.com, an Italian startup in the Application PaaS (cloud-computing) space.

We are pre-revenue and we're based in Italy (and I'm aware that both these points are not really good ones) but the technology we have developed is cool and it enables a pretty unique marketing strategy. Also the platform is ready for demo, and we'll start public beta early in September this year.

I can find a number of NY-based BAs and VCs on the internet, but I guess that most of them would never take into account a pre-revenue startup based in Italy (regardless how cool the technology is).

Maybe someone here can help me in targeting BAs and VCs most likely to be interested?We don't really need much money (Italian engineers are smart and cheap, fortunately), so it could be a very good deal for a BA as well (not just for VCs). A co-investment with an Italian VC might also be possible.

Please note that I'm just planning the trip, so at the moment I just need some references. I will probably not be able to contact any suggested reference before the end of June.
