Event Description

BAIA invites you to join us for an informative talk about the challenges that founders face as their company is growing.

The bootstrapping period has ended. Your start-up has survived all possible mistakes. The search for a repeatable and scalable business model is firmly in place.  The “WHY” now takes center stage.

Two industry veterans, Nigel Hartley and Tony Quintong Jr. will address the critical issues facing companies as they grow out of the start-up phase:

  • Is your business sustainable? You need to know “Why” you are in business.
  • For a business to be sustainable there needs to be recognition that value is more than numbers.
  • Understand the importance of talent/culture in the valuation model.
  • What is the effect of “Acqui-Hiring” on the start-up community?

“Why” being aligned to your vision, values and culture can be challenging as you evolve from being a Start-Up. Your vision, values and culture will be challenged as your company evolves. How will you respond? “Why” being aligned to your vision, values and culture has a measurable ROI?

The event will be moderated by Mauro Battocchi, Consul General of Italy.
